In accordance with WORK COVER REGULATIONS
Under the OH&S Regulations 2001 and AS3760 it is a requirement to carry out regular testing and tagging of ALL electrical equipment at any type of workplace.

To ensure the above guidelines are being met, anything that has a plug on it or can be connected to the Electricity Supply must be tested and tagged, this includes items such as computers, TVs, VCRs, microwave ovens, drills, extension cords and power boards etc...

Electrical faults in equipment are one of the greatest causes of electrical fires in the workplace, and can have a major impact to loss of equipment and productivity within your company. Employers have a "duty of care" to ensure appropriate testing and tagging is undertaken in the work place.

WHO TO CALL?
TELEFIX Will arrange for a qualified technician to come out to your premises and perform a 4 point safety analysis test and tag all electrical equipment with minimum fuss and no hassles. The tests consist of:
  • A Physical Test - For any physical damage or obvious faults on the equipment
  • A Polarity Test - To ensure the equipment is correctly wired.
  • A Insulation Test - To ensure the insulation resistance in the cord is correct.
  • A Earth Continuity Test - To ensure the equipment is correctly earthed.
